Your wardrobe personality is just another way of referring to your style. But I prefer this terminology because it touches upon one essential factor in building your unique wardrobe. That of your personality. Because what would be style without our personality? Just another word!
What is your your wardrobe personality?
If that is a puzzling question, then this is the place to be.
Just like you, I do not have a simple answer. Because each style is unique. I can say my style is sometimes romantic sometimes flamboyant, which is a very general reply. However, instead of looking to answer this question, I challenge you to think about designs and cuts that embrace the shape of your body and make you feel at your best. But also comfortable to wear. And when I say comfortable I don’t mean true to your size items, I mean comfortable to go out with and tell the world this is who you are. Because trying to achieve a certain style on the cover of a magazine or in the shops will not be successful if you do not pay attention to the uniqueness of your body.
What is bodycon or slim design?
It is a tight figure-hugging outfit. So it can be a pair of skinny jeans matched with a tight blouse, stretchy fabric or a tight skirt on your hips and paired with a tight turtleneck. The leopard skirt has a flowy hem but due to the hips-hugging cut and the non-stretchy fabric, when worn it does not add too much volume to the hem, so I still consider it a bodycon skirt.
What is then classic straight design?
I would dare to say that this design is supposed to fit most of us. The fact that we call it straight, it does not necessarily mean that the cut is straight. Also adding the word classic it does again not mean that I am referring to the classic style. It merely means that the clothes that could be qualified as straight design will neither be figure-hugging like the bodycon but also not be deliberately loose on you.
What is then an oversized design?
It is a design that was deliberately meant to fit looser, to look oversized on you. If you choose a smaller size, it will still fit you, but it will not reflect anymore the message that an oversized fit is suppose to.
Each one of us has a preference. But also matching the three style is also not wrong. As long as you know what you want to highlight. So below you can see how even the two opposite styles: bodycon and oversized design fit nicely together.
So if I ask you know what is your style, do you have a bit more clarity in your answer? I hope so!
